On June the 20th, 2016 the “Day of the Holy Spirit” is celebrated in Greece.
It is also called “Monday of the Holy Spirit” or “Pentecost Monday”. It is the holiday celebrated the day after Pentecost, being dedicated specifically to the honor of God the Holy Spirit and particularly in commemoration of his descent upon the apostles at Pentecost.
It is a moveable feast in the Christian calendar because it is determined by the date of Easter. Monday of the Holy Spirit is a holiday in Greece and theoretically all spirit work rests that day.
On that day, most of the private and public sector does not operate
