Our New Immigration Law will delay a little to come into force. By latest official updates shared by the Ministry (art.97 Law 5079/23), we are expecting it to come into force on March the 31st 2024.
Personal number-introduction
Following our post on December regarding the changes of issuing a tax number in Greece, we have more news to share: Greece will introduce the Personal Number soon. Personal Number will replace the tax and social security numbers which at the moment are 3 in number and one must follow 3 separate procedures to ensure compliance. Change will take place for Greek nationals first but we expect this to be introduced for Foreign Nationals as well.
